He was employed by the USDA for 30 years and retired in 2014 and now devotes his time to the nursery. My passion to grow quality and affordable plants for your landscape needs, we would love to have you visit our nursery. In 2021 we constructed a greenhouse and grow annual bedding plants.

We are a small but growing nursery in Mickleton, Gloucester County, NJ and the owner, Barry Gruber is committed to growing the “old reliables” in the nursery industry. 99% of what we grow and sell is propagated right on the premises annually. We are a small but growing nursery in Mickleton, Gloucester County, NJ and the owner, Barry Gruber is committed to growing the “old reliables” in the nursery industry. 99% of what we grow and sell is propagated right on the premises annually. All of our plants are hardy to this area and have been through at least one winter here. We also specialize in rooted cuttings and liners for the plant industry. In 2022, we expanded our line of products to include annuals and vegetables all of which we start from seeds in our greenhouse.
